Zia Football Tournament preparation meeting held

A preparation meeting has been held to successfully organize the Chattagram Divisional Zia Football Tournament.

The meeting was held at the Chattagram District Stadium (CJKS) auditorium on Friday.

The tournament will be held at the Chattagram District Stadium on October 24 under the initiative of the Bangladesh District and Divisional Sports Organizers Association and in collaboration with the Nationalist Sports Team.

Four teams will participate in it, led by former star players of the nationalfootball team.

According to the organizers, the main objective of this tournament is toincrease interest in football.

BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury will be present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the tournament.

The meeting was presided over by Mahbuber Rahman Shamim, advisor to the Chattagram Divisional Organizing Committee.

Chattagram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain, Tournament Committee Advisor VP Harunur Rashid Harun, Abul Hashem Bakkar, IsrafilKhasru Mahmud Chowdhury spoke at the event.
