World Hand Washing Day celebrated in Pirganj

World Hand Washing Day was celebrated in Pirganj, Thakurgaon. A
rally and hand washing exhibition were jointly organized by the Upazila Administration and the Public Health Engineering Department on Wednesday with the theme 'Be a hand washing hero'. In the morning, the colorful rally took out and walked through various streets of the city and came to Sabuj Government Primary School to hold a hand washing exhibition.

Upazila Executive Officer Rakibul Hasan, Upazila Public Health Engineer Mehedi Hasan, Upazila Primary Education Officer Rahim Uddin, Upazila ICT Officer Sumit Gupta, Rural Development Officer Rakib Hossain, Manager of Palli Sanchay Bank Anwar Hossain, Assistant Primary Education Officer Momtaz Ferdousi, General Secretary of Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee Mokaddes Hayat Milon, Headmaster of Sabuj Government Primary School Mozammel Haque, officials from various departments, scouts and students from various schools participated in it. Later, various hand washing techniques were demonstrated to the students in the premises of Sabuj Government Primary School.
