BGMEA calls for quick assessment of garments accessories

First vice President of Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association(BGMEA) Nasiruddin Chowdhury called upon the customs and port officials to release the imported raw materials meant for RMG sector to release the imported consignment within one day through green channel following the quick customs assessment and port formalities.
He called upon the Customs Commissioner on Sunday evening in a views exchange meeting . Nasiruddin Chowdhury congratulated the Chittagong Customs commissioner for his important role in releasing he raw materials relates to import and exports.
BGMEA official proposed for constituting a technical committee comprising officials of Customs, BGMEA, Chittagong Chamber and C&F agents and PUF.
Among others BGMEA Director Anjan Sekhat Das, M. Mohiuddin Chowdhury, former first vice president viz. SM Taiyub, Moiunddin ahmed and Nasiruddin Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
