5 new factories get LEED certification

Bangladesh’s Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector has reached another milestone in its green journey, with 5 new USGBC-certified LEED factories added to its ranks.

This brings the total to 258 certified factories, including 109 Platinum and 133 Gold certifications-cementing Bangladesh’s position as the global leader in environmentally friendly garment manufacturing.

Among these new factories that have been certified, Purbani Fashion Limited , South End Sweater Co. Ltd, KDS Fashion Ltd, Raidha Collections Ltd obtained Platinum level and Texeurop BD Ltd achieved gold certification level.

Notably, Bangladesh now boasts 68 of the world’s top 100 highest-rated LEED-certified buildings, a testament to its exceptional green performance on the global stage.
