Chhatra Dal issues 6-point code for Shahbagh rally

Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has announced six specific instructions to maintain discipline during its upcoming rally at Shahbagh in Dhaka on August 3. The directives, released Friday by JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir, are aimed at ensuring a peaceful and organised gathering.

Key Instructions Include:

No banners, placards, or festoons will be allowed at the venue.

All units must stay at their designated spots throughout the event.

Emergency services must be kept unobstructed between Katabon, Aziz Super Market, BSMMU, and Hotel Intercontinental.

No Chhatra Dal vehicles are allowed to enter Dhaka University.

Personal processions or individual showdowns are prohibited.

All units must clean the area and vacate the venue after the programme ends.

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to address the event virtually, with Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Student Affairs Secretary Rakibul Islam Bakul participating in key roles.
