Want to be regular in movie: Sabila Nur
Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Popular small screen actress Sabila Nur made her big screen debut under the direction of director Raihan Rafi.
She was seen opposite superstar Shakib Khan in the movie ‘Taandob’, which was released last Eid-ul-Azha.
As the new face of the film industry, Sabila can be a name that directors can trust. Therefore, according to many, Sabila should be a regular in movies.
In a recent interview, Sabila Nur said that she entered the film industry with a plan. She works in at least two films a year.
Sabila Nur told this correspondent, “In the last few years, audiences have been watching movies with interest at every festival. This is what encourages me towards cinema. I think this is a great time for cinema. There will be even better times in the future. Different kinds of stories will be created.
I am very optimistic about the film industry. I did not come to film to star. I want to act in good films. I want to work in two films a year. In fact, film is the biggest medium for an artiste to prove him/herself.”
The actress also said, “Cinema is the biggest platform for an artiste to showcase their performance, because time is an issue in drama. If the drama lasts two to three days or has a big budget, the shooting of the drama must be completed in a maximum of six to seven days.
But I get plenty of time to prepare myself for the character in the movie. The shooting also takes time. So, cinema is a very good platform for me as a performer. I want to be here regularly.”
