Day-long workshop of Multimedia Journalists Association inaugurated in Sylhet

A day-long workshop organized by Sylhet Multimedia Journalists Association has been inaugurated. The workshop was inaugurated by the chief guest of the event on Saturday (July 12) morning, BNP Chairperson’s Advisor and Sylhet Divisional Sports Organization Convener Dr. Enamul Haque Chowdhury.

Multimedia Journalists Association President Masud Ahmed Rony presided over the meeting. The inaugural ceremony, moderated by Member Secretary Shahidul Islam, was also attended by Selina Chowdhury, publisher of the country’s first hyperlocal media outlet Sylhet Voice, Nazmul Kabir Pavel, President of the Divisional Photojournalist Association, Ashkar Amin Ibn Rabbi, General Secretary of the Women’s Journalist Club Shakila Bobby, Joint Member Secretary of the Multimedia Journalist Association Mamun Hossain, and others.
It is to be noted that the workshop, initiated by the Sylhet Multimedia Journalist Association, will be used to pay for the treatment of photojournalist Mamun Hossain. Renowned journalists will provide training in three sessions throughout the day in this day-long workshop.
