NRB Bank appoints two sr. bankers to top roles
NRB Bank PLC has strengthened its top management with key leadership appointments.
The bank has promoted Anwar Uddin to Additional Managing Director (AMD) and appointed Kimiwa Saddat as Additional Managing Director and Chief Business Officer (CBO).
Anwar Uddin brings nearly four decades of banking experience to his new role. Having started his career at NCC Bank in 1987, he later served as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) at Southeast Bank before joining NRB Bank as DMD.
His promotion comes in recognition of his leadership, expertise, and ongoing contributions to the bank.
Meanwhile, Kimiwa Saddat joins NRB Bank with over 23 years of experience in corporate, SME, and Islamic banking. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director and CEO (Current Charge) at Community Bank Bangladesh, DMD at Meghna Bank, and held senior roles at HSBC, The City Bank, and Eastern Bank.
He is also an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Finance at the University of Dhaka.
NRB Bank stated that the combined leadership and experience of both executives will drive the bank’s sustainable growth, innovation, and overall business performance.
