Three players share lead in Rating Chess
Three players are sharing lead in the points table with 5.5 points after the 6th round games of the Golden Sporting Club International Rating Chess Tournament now being held in Muktijuddho Smrity Stadium Bhaban in Rajshahi
They are IM Abu Sufian Shakil of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited,FM Mehdi Hasan Parag of Leonine Chess Club & FM Debaraj Chatterjee of Titas Club.
Six players are sharing 2nd position with 5 points. They are FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman Emon of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Titas Club, Shahnaz Mohammad Faruk, Faisal Hossain of Farashganj Sporting Club, Dilip Das and Shrutarshi Roy of India.
Abdul Moin of Mir Chess Club and WIM Rani Hamid are jointly in 3rd position with 4.5 points each.
In the 6th round games held Monday, Shakil beat Momin, Parag beat Emon, Debaraj beat Saiful Islam Chowdhury, Fahad beat Rabiul Bhuiyan, Dilip beat WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin, Shahnaz beat Golam Sarwar, Faisal beat Shamsul Alam, Shrutarshi beat Enamul Bahar and Rani Hamid beat Kingshuk Das.
Rubel out of second Test

Pacer Rubel Hossain will remaind out of the second and final Test of the DAN CAKE series because of injury.
Hossain felt discomfort during the fourth day of the first Test of the series in Khulna and subsequently underwent a scan today (Monday) in Dhaka which confirmed the injury.
National Team physio Bayjedul Islam said: “The results confirmed the injury. It takes about three to four weeks to recover from such injuries. He (Hossain) will begin his rehab in the next couple of days.”
Meanwhile, pace bowler Abul Hasan has been called up to replace Hossain in the Bangladesh squad for the second Test.
