The Dhaka University (DU) administration celebrated the 153rd birth anniversary of Nawab Sir Khwaja Salimullah Bahadur known as Nawab Sir Salimullah who played a pivotal role establishing the university with befitting manners.

Though Nawab Sir Salimullah was visionary behind the establishment of the university, the DU shown negligence paying respect to him over last years. However, after the mass uprising of 2024, the current DU administration took a number of programs commemorating his birthday anniversary.
