MTB appoints 3 professionals to its board

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) has appointed three distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors.
The bank appointed Syed Nasim Manzur and Tapan Chowdhury as directors, and Zareen Mahmud Hosein as an independent director, says a press release.

Syed Nasim Manzur, a distinguished Bangladeshi industrialist and the managing director of Apex Footwear Ltd, a leading leather footwear manufacturer and exporter in Bangladesh has been elected as a director in the Board of MTB.

He is the son of late Syed Manzur Elahi, a renowned entrepreneur, former advisor to the caretaker government of Bangladesh and the founding chairman of Mutual Trust Bank.
In addition to leading Apex Footwear, he holds key positions in several companies, including chairman of Landmark Footwear Ltd and serves as director of Apex Tannery Ltd, Apex Pharma Ltd, and Blue Ocean Footwear Ltd, among others.
