EC aims to deliver credible election, says Home Adviser

Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury today expressed confidence that the Election Commission (EC) will deliver a credible and well-organized national election, with full cooperation from the government.

“We are hopeful that the Election Commission will present a good election to the nation. The government will provide all necessary support to ensure this,” he said.

The Home Adviser made the remarks while speaking to reporters after attending the 10th meeting of the Advisory Council on Law and Order, held at the Home Ministry conference room.

He also assured that the law and order situation across the country would remain under control during the upcoming general election.
