Stocks rebound on DSE, CSE

After witnessing a downward trend in the last two sessions, stocks on Monday rebounded in the Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges as investors remained active on sector-wise issues.

DSEX, the broad index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), advanced by 17.4 points to settle at 4,695 points as against 4,678 points in the previous trading session.

Market analysts observed that the market began the trading session by witnessing buying interests across the trading floor, reports BSS.

Despite sellers attempting to assert their dominance mid-way through the session, buyers ultimately managed to withstand the selling pressure, allowing the benchmark index to close in positive territory, they mentioned.
