French Embassy in Bangladesh partners with GLIL for employee insurance coverage

Guardian Life Insurance Limited (GLIL) has recently signed an agreement with the Embassy of France in Bangladesh to offer comprehensive insurance coverage.
Under this agreement, all the employees and family members of the French Embassy will be able to avail life coverage and medical benefits from Guardian Life.
The agreement was recently signed in the presence of high officials of both the organisations.
Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, additional managing director and chief executive officer (Acting) of Guardian, and HE Marie Masdupuy, ambassador of the Embassy of France in Bangladesh, signed this agreement on behalf of their respective concern, says a press release.
From Guardian, high officials including Mahmudur Rahman Khan, AMD and head of Retail Business; Md Sajib Hossain, FCA, SEVP and chief financial officer; Farjana Quader, SVP and head of HR; Ghazi Rafi Ahmed Shams, SVP and head of Group Insurance; Iftakher Ahmed, SVP and deputy head of Group Insurance, were present at the event.
Frederic Lecourt, consul and head of Chancery; and Kazi Abdullah Al Muktadir, administrative manager of the French Embassy, were also present in the signing ceremony.

In this connection, we are happy to join hands with the Embassy of France in Bangladesh.

French Embassy’s decision to partner with a local insurer like Guardian marks a pivotal moment for the insurance industry in Bangladesh, signaling increased trust in local expertise and opening new doors for meaningful collaborations in coming days.
