NTRCA fresh circular to recruit 108,822 MPO teachers

Staff Reporter :

The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has issued a new circular to recruit 108,822 entry-level teachers for MPO-listed private educational institutions across Bangladesh.

This is the sixth mass recruitment drive undertaken by the authority, as confirmed by a circular signed by NTRCA Member Md. Shahadat Hossain on Monday, 16 June.

The online application process will commence on 22 June and remain open until midnight on 10 July. Applicants will be allowed to submit the application fee until 13 July.

According to the circular, the positions include 46,211 posts in schools and colleges, 53,501 posts in madrasas, and 1,110 posts in technical and business management institutions. All posts are under the Monthly Payment Order (MPO) scheme.

The age of applicants will be calculated from 4 June 2025-the date on which the final results of the 18th teacher registration examination were published. Candidates must be 35 years old or younger as of that date. The validity of the registration certificate will also be counted from the same day and remain in effect for three years.

Applicants may choose up to 40 preferred institutions from the list of available vacancies. Applications must be submitted online via the NTRCA and Teletalk websites, accompanied by a non-refundable fee of BDT 1,000. Submissions without payment will be considered invalid.

The circular warns that candidates providing false or misleading information may face cancellation of their recruitment recommendation, along with legal consequences.

Additionally, educational institutions that fail to issue appointment letters to selected candidates within the stipulated timeframe may face disciplinary action, including the suspension or cancellation of MPO facilities for the head of the institution.

The managing committee or governing body may also be dissolved in accordance with MPO regulations.
This large-scale recruitment initiative is aimed at addressing long-standing teacher shortages and enhancing the overall quality of education in private institutions throughout the country.
