Meghna Ins appoints new CEO

MA Zaher Chowdhury was appointed as CEO of Meghna Insurance Company Limited Dhaka, on Tuesday. Meghna Insurance Company Limited has officially appointed M.A Zaher Chowdhury as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following formal approval from theInsurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA).

Chowdhury was earlier appointed as Acting CEO during the 166th meeting of the Board of Directors. He brings with him more than three decades of experience in the non-life insurance sector, having served in various renowned insurance companies across the country, says a press release.
