Hajj pilgrims’ training inaugurated in Khulna

The inauguration ceremony of a three-day training program for Hajj pilgrims, organized under government-private management in Khulna district, was held on Tuesday at the auditorium of the Khulna Divisional Islamic Foundation.

Khulna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saiful Islam attended the event as the chief guest. Approximately 1,200 Hajj pilgrims are expected to take part in the training sessions.

In his speech, the Deputy Commissioner stated that Hajj pilgrims are considered guests of the House of Allah. Hajj is an act of worship through which the good news of Paradise is received. He emphasized that pilgrims should be mentally prepared to embrace the hardships and sacrifices involved in Hajj and strive to attain the pleasure of Allah.

She added that the more carefully the pilgrims receive the training, the easier it will be for them to perform the Hajj rituals properly. He urged all participants to take the training seriously.

The event was chaired by Md. Anisuzzaman Sikder, Director of the Islamic Foundation Khulna Divisional Office. Among others present were Additional Deputy Commissioner (Land Acquisition) Nurul Hai Mohammad Anas, Senior Vice President of Islami Bank PLC Khulna Branch Md. Asaduzzaman, Former Deputy Director of the Khulna Health Department Dr. Harun Or Rashid, Representative of Lima Hajj Travels Agency (Hab) Md. Saidur Rahman Sayeed, and Pesh Imam of Bangladesh Bank Jame Mosque, Maulana Md. Masum Billah.
