3 held with Yaba

Chittagong Metropolitan Police arrested three people including two Myanmar citizens with 10 thousand pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from city’s Firingi Bazar area on Wednesday night.
The detainees were identified as Myanmar citizens – Hamid Ullah, 40 and Noymul Hoque, 23 and Bangladeshi citizen Abu Taher, 49.
On secret information, a team of Kotwali police arrested them with the yaba tablets from a rented house at Firingi Bazar Bongshal road area under city’ Kotwali thana around 11.50pm on Thursday, said Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali police station.
A case was filed in this connection, the OC added.
