Fire at jhut warehouse in Savar under control

The fire that broke out at a jhut warehouse in Savar’s Ashulia on Friday afternoon was brought under control after two hours of effort.
The blaze started in a tin shed jhut warehouse owned by Md. Sharif, located in the Pobnartek area of Ashulia’s Jamgora around 1 pm, according to Pronob Ball, the in-charge of DEPZ Fire Service, reports UNB.
On information, four firefighting units from DEPZ Fire Service and Jirabo Modern Fire Service rushed to the scene and successfully controlled the fire by 3 pm, he added.
The cause of the fire has not yet been identified.
