GPH International School hosted its Annual Sports Competition and Cultural Program 2025 in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The day-long event was graced by Sarwat Reza, Director of Business Development, British Council, Bangladesh, as the chief guest, along with many distinguished guests. Also present at the event were Mr. Md. Alamgir Kabir, Chairman of GPH Ispat and President of GPH International School, and Mrs. Kamrun Nahar, Vice Chairman. Additionally, Mr. Almas Shimul, Mr. Abdul Ahad, and Mr. Solaiman Kabir, Directors of the school, were in attendance.
The event commenced with the national anthem, marking the official inauguration of the sports competition. Students enthusiastically participated in various events, including running, memory tests, math race, cockfight, ball throw into the basket, and a creative costume contest.
The winners were later awarded prizes, further enhancing their excitement and motivation.
Following the sports segment, the Cultural Program 2025 began, where young students mesmerized the audience with dance performances, songs, poetry recitations, magic shows, and a fashion show. Their captivating performances won the hearts of everyone present.
Chief guest Sarwat Reza delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to actively engage in extracurricular activities alongside their academic pursuits. Mr. Md. Alamgir Kabir, the event’s president, commended the students' achievements and enthusiasm, expressing his commitment to organizing even larger events in the future.
