Principal Abdul Hannan dies

Acting Principal of Kulaura Government College of Moulvibazar, Editor of Weekly Hakaluki Newspaper, Prominent Social and Political Personality. Abdul Hannan (56) died at Sylhet Heart Foundation on Friday.
He is survived by his wife, 2 sons and 2 daughters and numerous relatives and benefactors. His Namaz-e-Janaja was were held at Kulaura Government College ground at 5 pm on the day.
According to family sources, Abdul Hannan was admitted to a hospital in the municipal city when he suddenly felt ill last Tuesday. Later, if the physical condition improved a little, the doctor suggested taking Abdul Hannan home on Thursday. He fell ill again on Friday morning while at home.
He breathed his last at Sylhet Heart Foundation Hospital around 8:45 am. Meanwhile, the news of Abdul Hannan’s death has cast a shadow of mourning across the upazila.
He was closely involved with BNP politics as well as teaching. He was also involved with various social organizations.
