Court orders to seize ex-minister Sadhan’s tax records

Former food minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder’s tax records have been ordered to be seized by a court. Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib issued the order on Thursday to seize his tax documents, following a petition by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The court also set January 29 as the date for a hearing on whether to show him as arrested in his presence. A production warrant was issued to ensure his appearance in court.
