Popular model and actress Anika Kabir Shokh’s hobby has been her relationship with the entertainment world since childhood.
After that she became model of TV commercials and got popularity overnight. Then she worked with the famous brands of the country.
Later, Shakh got calls to act in TV dramas. After that, she didn’t look back.
After commercials and dramas, Shokh was also seen acting in movies. She was seen paired up with Shakib Khan in the movie ‘Bolo Na Tumi Amar’.
Shokh has also made her debut on the OTT platform in 2024.
However, sometimes due to personal reasons, she was away from all kinds of works including acting.
Now Shokh is busy again. This actress said that she wants to be busy with work in the New Year.
In the meantime, Shokh’s engagement with drama and modelling has increased. However, when asked whether she will be seen again in the movie, Shokh told this correspondent, “I got popularity in the media at a very young age. In the meantime, when I acted in the movie ‘Bolo Na Tumi Amar’, I just finished my secondary exams. After that I didn’t work like that in the movie. But I want to return to cinema if I get a good story because I am an actress. Acting is my job. So, if a good job offer comes I will definitely do it. It’s not only in movies; it can be in dramas and on OTT platforms.”
Shokh starrer her debut web film was ‘Tribhuj’.
It was directed by Alok Hasan. Shokh’s experience in digital platforms is great.
According to her, the syndicate has influence on OTT platform as well.
The actress said about this, “Syndicates are everywhere. There are also so many platforms. I always wanted to stay away from these. I’m still far away. I think artistes are like flowers. They will adorn everywhere. So, I think it is possible to do something good with acting if you can work independently without getting involved with any particular syndicate.”
Shokh also talked about keeping herself busy again at this time.
While talking in this regard, she told this correspondent, “Now the work style is changing. New talented directors have come in the industry. Good works are being done in every way. It has increased competition. So, I am constantly preparing myself. I want to be regular in the industry with good works.”
