Deepa Khandakar replaces Sumaiya Shimu

After a long break, popular TV actress Sumaiya Shimu was supposed to return to the serial with Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz’s ‘Firey Ashar Golpo’. Shimu was excited about the drama series.

She said that she was missing acting and was very happy to be back in front of the camera. However, it was suddenly revealed that Sumaiya Shimu would
not be in the serial.

Shimu was supposed to play the role of ‘Rukaiya’ in the story of ‘Firey Ashar Golpo’. She said about the character, “A story and character like returning after a break in the serial.”

However, Shimu did not get to play ‘Rukaiya’ on screen. Deepa Khandakar is playing this role instead of Sumaiya Shimu.

Deepa was already associated with this series. She was supposed to play the role of ‘Mariam’. Rosey Siddiqui has recently been added to that role.

The director and production company Cinemawala has not yet officially announced the change in the cast of the series ‘Firey Ashar Golpo’.

However, all the photos of Sumaiya Shimu’s photoshoot have been removed from the company’s Facebook page. Rosey Siddiqui has been newly introduced as ‘Mariam’.

When Sumaiya Shimu was contacted to find out the reason for her withdrawal from the series, there was no response. Even after contacting the director Raz, there was no answer.

It is learned that Shimu has decided to withdraw from the series due to illness. She is on rest on the advice of a doctor due to eye problems.

Zahid Hasan and Tanjim Saiyara Totini have returned to the drama series after a long time with a story of their comeback despite Sumaiya Shimu not being able to act. Shahiduzzaman Selim, Khairul Basar, Monira Mithu, Faizul Yamin, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Mukit Zakaria, Ejazul Islam, Raju and others are also acting in the series.

The series ‘Firey Ashar Golpo’ will start airing on the Cinemawala YouTube channel from October 7. It will be shown every Wednesday and Thursday at 12 noon. Shooting is currently in full swing.
