Kishoreganj abducted child found dead

Police have recovered the half-decomposed body of a child in Kishoreganj ‘s Katiadi upazila after four days, he was abducted. His body was found in a canal in Kathurdia village of Kargaon union of the upazila on Friday noon.
The deceased child’s name is Abdullah (4). He is the only child of Md. Enar Mia of the same village. The child’s uncle Md. Shafiq Bhuiyan said that Abdullah suddenly disappeared while playing ball in front of the house on Monday afternoon. Despite a search by the family, they could not find him and reported him to the police station. Later, the kidnappers called the child’s uncle and aunt and demanded money as ransom. The family members paid 32,000 taka through bKash, but the child was not returned. A written complaint was filed in this regard with Katiadi Model Police Station and Kishoreganj Company Commander RAB-14, CPC-2.
