Discussion, prayer mahfil at CPC marking 1st death anniv of Barrister Mainul

A discussion and prayer mahfil was held on the occasion of the first death anniversary of Barrister Mainul Hosein, former president of the editorial board of The Daily Ittefaq and The New Nation, former advisor to the caretaker government, former president of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association, former president of the Bangladesh SangbadpatraParishad (BSP), former member of the Bangladesh Press Council, and honorable member of the first National Parliament of Bangladesh.
A discussion meeting and prayer mahfil were held at S. Rahman Hall of Chattagram Press Club (CPC) on Jamal Khan Roadon Monday (December 9) under the initiative of Bangladesh Human Rights Journalists Association.
The chief guest at the meeting was Dr. Shahadat Hossain, Honorable Mayor (Chattagram City Corporation), special guests were Zahidul Karim Kochi (Member Secretary, Chattagram Press Club), Alhaj Mohiuddin Kaderi Shawkat (Senior Journalist and Editor), and Md. RashedAlhaj Lion MA Samad Khan PMJF. Journalist SM Jamal Uddin also chaired the meeting.
