Ten platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in different parts of Dhaka and Chattogram amid growing tensions over the deteriorating law-and-order situation.
The BGB announced this information in a press release on Tuesday.
The statement said 4 platoons of BGB have been deployed in areas of Dhaka, including Shahbagh, Matshya Bhaban, and Hotel Intercontinental, to maintain law and order. Moreover, 6 platoons of BGB have been deployed in Chattogram city for the same purpose.
