2 BCL shooters held in Ctg

Police arrested two students of the banned Bangladesh Chatra League (BCL) at Patiya on Thursday for openly firing in the procession during the Anti-discriminatory Students Reform Movement .
They were arrested in two separate drives there, sources said. The arrestees are- former vice president of patiya poura chatra league Sarafuddin , son of Abdul Majid, Organising secretary of CL of Patiya Pourasava unit Md.Harek Hasan, son of Forak ahmed, both hail from Govindarkhil of Patiya upazila. Patiya thana police sources said the were arrested after viewing the CCTV footage of August 4 last .
Both were arrested on specific allegations also.Patiya thana Officer in charge Md.Nazmul Noor said during the Ansti-discriminatory Students Movement, the accuseds openly fired in the procession ,attack on rally, vandalism of BNP office there, attempt to murder to a Jamat Leader, coktail explosion.
