Fish farmer receives certificates in Sonagazi

Mozammel Hossain Masud, a BNP leader and fish farmer from Sonagazi Sadar Union, received honors and certificates as the best fish farmer in Feni district. Feni Deputy Commissioner Monira Haque presented the honours and certificates to him at a programme on Sunday.

The fisheries sector was inaugurated in Feni through a rally, fish fry release and discussion meeting. Feni Deputy Commissioner Monira Haque inaugurated the programme on Sunday morning with the theme “A self-reliant country in silver fisheries, Bangladesh first”.

Under the direction of District Fisheries Officer Masudul Hasan, District Assistant Deputy Director of Agriculture Masudur Rahman, District Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain, fish farmer Mozammel Hossain Masud and journalist Abu Taher etc.

At this time, three successful fish farmers were given honorary mementos for their efforts in fish farming. Also present were Deputy Director of the Local Government Department of the District Commissioner’s Office and Municipal Administrator Md. Didarul Alam and other officials.
