In the bustling city of Dhaka, there exists a haven of warmth and cheer –Professor Dr A T M Aman Ullah’s chamber at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University’s (BSMMU) Urology Department. For years, it has stood as a beacon of hope and healing for the community, with Dr Aman Ullah himself at its heart.

Dr Aman Ullah is not just a physician, he is a pillar of strength and kindness in our lives. His captivating smile has a magical way of easing the worries and pains of those who enter his BSMMU chamber. Whether it is a minor ailment or a more serious concern, Dr Aman Ullah approaches every patient with the same unwavering compassion and care.

I still remember the day I first stepped into his chamber, feeling anxious and uncertain. But the moment Dr Aman Ullah greeted me with his charming smile, all my fears melted away. It is not just his medical expertise that sets him apart, though that is unquestionably impressive. It is his ability to connect on a deeper level, to see beyond the symptoms and truly understand the person behind the patient.

And, then there is his remarkable memory. Despite the countless faces that pass through his doors each day, Dr Aman Ullah never fails to remember my name. He often fondly recalls me as an honest journalist, a testament to the long-standing bonds he forges with his patients.

So, here is to you, Dr Aman Ullah. Thank you for being the guiding light in our lives, for your unwavering kindness, and for reminding us all of the power of compassion.

I want to express my deep gratitude and admiration for this extraordinary individual who has played a pivotal role in my life. Rarely do people touch my heart and he is one of them. I always feel there is some connection with him which made me write this.

The best doctors not only cure ailments, but also possess the magical ability to restore faith, ignite resilience, and bring smiles back to faces.

In recent times, I encountered Dr Aman Ullah’s unwavering dedication and expertise following enlargement of my prostate. I had complaints of urinary incontinence, poor flow of urine and other problems. In medical terms, I underwent TURP and BNI. under his able guidance. Despite my age, the care and attention I received under his guidance led to my remarkably swift recovery.

What sets him apart is not only his medical acumen, but also his genuine concern for his patients’ well-being. Whenever I feel any health issue, his name automatically comes to my mind. To me, he is one of the Best Urologists and Doctors I have ever come across.
