Artist Club unveils ‘Iconic Tuesday’ with Khurshid Alam

Artist Club, which officially began its journey in May this year, has announced a new weekly programme titled ‘Iconic Tuesday’, bringing together renowned artistes and cultural figures from across the country.

Since its launch, the club has regularly organised weekly musical programmes alongside poetry evenings and discussions on literature and culture.

The new series will take place every Tuesday at Artist Club in Banani, Dhaka, with veteran singer Khurshid Alam set to appear as the guest of the inaugural edition.

Artist Club President Sujit Mostafa in a Facebook post, said, “The first edition will feature Khurshid Alam.

The programme has been organised to celebrate his 81st birthday and will take place at the Artist Club Lounge at 7:30pm on Tuesday, August 11. Tickets have been priced at Tk1,000.”
