Owners speak against illegal occupation of Urpathar Beel

The landowners of Urpathar beel of Tangab Union of Pagla Police Station held a press conference seeking legal intervention against the illegal occupation of Urpathar Beel by the head of Tchalim Force, the land robbers, oppressors, terrorists, drug addicts, violent Tchalim forces, in Sangchapila village of Tangab Union of Pagla Police Station, Gafargaon Upazila of Mymensingh.
On Saturday, in the Gafargaon Press Club auditorium a human chain has been held.
Project owner Aneek Khan has been cultivating fish in Urpathar bill on 360 khata land of Sankachapila village for the last one year. Project owners and land owners claim that Taslim Katrik is trying to seize the bill by force.
The owners of the bill said, last April 27) rent to Anik Khan in 2023.In the current changing situation, the identified occupiers of the area are continuing to spread misinformation about this bill in
various ways. The real truth is that we the owners have collectively hired Anik Khan for 5 years. Seeking administration’s intervention and legal assistance against this inaction.
Land owner Md. Hatem Ali Khan, retired teacher Abul Hasem Khan High School and former UP member Tangab Union, Akram Ali Khan, farmer, project owner Aneek Khan, farmer Md. Kabir Mofizuddin Sheikh and many others presented their demands. Later, landowners and local people protested on the road in front of the press club.
