GP introduces new international benefits for users

Grameenphone has for the first time in Bangladesh launched an international benefits scheme for their users after their recent agreements with Malaysian telecom operator Digi and travel booking website agoda.com.
In a statement on Sunday, the telecom operator said, GP users with international roaming will be able to enjoy merchant rewards offered by Digi in Malaysia.
GP clients will have to show their mobiles to Digi Network outlets to get offers given by a number of restaurants, cafes, bookstores, grooming outlets, fashion stores and theme parks.
Under the deal with agoda.com, Grameenphone Platinum Plus/Platinum users can avail 7% and Gold/Silver STAR customers will get 5% off on top of Agoda’s existing hotel reservation discount.
GP’s Chief Marketing Officer Allan Bonke and his counterpart in Digi, Christian Thrane, have signed the agreements.
