Attacker on MP’s vehicle held

Police rounded up Jubodal activist Md Rubel(26) alleged accused in hurling cocktail in the private vehicle of local law maker and Executive President of JSD Moinuddin Khan Badar . He was rounded up from Karnaphuli bridge area under Bakalia thana in city yesterday early morning. Rubel is the son of one Md Maharam Alai of Boalkali upazila of the district. Officer in-charge of the Bakalia thana Md. Mohsin told that acting on secret information about the presence of the accused, police conducted raid in the a area and rounded up him.
Mentionable that a group of BNP leaders hurled bomb in the private vehicle of the lawmaker on January 20 last at home constituency Boalkhali area . In connection of the bomb attack on legislator, police filed a case accusing 36 activists belonging to BNP and Jamaat before the concerned police station, sources added.
