Bangladesh A win team event trophy

Bangladesh A team comprising of M Sajib Ali and M Ismail won team event trophy in Runner Group 30th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship after the second round held on Thursday.
They played 07 under par (139 + 142 = 281) and ensured the team’s title. Myanmar team comprising of Maung Maung Oo and Kyaw Thet Oo by playing 04 over par (147 + 145 = 292) bagged the runner-up spot.
Thailand national team comprising of Witchayanon Chothirunrungreun and Sadom Kaewkanjana finishd 2nd runner up. They scored 296.
This was certainly a good result for the Bangladesh A team for being able to clinch the title of the Runner Group 30th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship 2015 for their better performance.
In the Individual category, winner will be declared on the basis of four round aggregated scores. As on now after 02 rounds, leader of the 1st round Md Sajib Ali of Bangladesh could strengthened his top position by scoring 03 under par (69) in the 2nd round.
Now Md Ismail of Bangladesh ‘A’ team with 02 under par (69 + 73 = 142) is holding the 2nd position. Another golfer of Bangladesh Md Rasel holding the 3rd position by scoring 01 under par (71+72=143).
Md Akbar Hossain of Bangladesh B team and Mr. Kyaw Thet Oo of Myanmar jointly hold the 4th position with 01 over par (145).
To uphold the prestige and glory of the nation M Sajib Ali and M Ismail will have to play very well with superb performances in next two rounds to retain their position, said a press release.
