Truck driver found dead in fish farm watch room

The body of a truck driver named Md. Din Islam (30), son of Baschu Mollik from Tekathia village within Shuvodia Union under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district, was discovered in a watch room (locally known as ‘Ghaighar’) of a fish farm belonging to Abdur Rahman Goldar from the same village. The incident occurred on Tuesday (June 18) morning at around 9 am.
Islam’s body was found hanging from a beam in the watch room. His family claimed that he committed suicide due to ongoing family disputes. Md. Ashraful Alam, Officer-in-Charge of Fakirhat Model Police Station, mentioned that the body was recovered and sent to Bagerhat District Hospital for an autopsy. The autopsy will determine whether the death was a case of suicide or homicide.
