Independence Day Handball begins today

The Independence Day Handball competition (man and woman) begins today at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city said a press release.

Youth and Sports Secretary Dr Mohiuddin Ahmed is expected to inaugurate the three-day meet as the chief guest, organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF).

BHF president AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the opening ceremony.

The participating men’s teams are Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Team Handball Dhaka and FarukTomal Sports Academy.
