1 held with 50 bottles phensedyl in Benapole

A drug dealer was arrested along with 50 bottles of Phensedyl in a special operation by a vigilant team of the Jashore District Detective (DB) branch last Saturday around 8:30 pm in Khalshi village under Benapole police station in Jashore.
The arrested drug dealer is Md. Monirul Islam (28), son of Rafiqul Islam of Bazar Para, Khalshi village of Benapole.
District Intelligence Branch said, “Based on a tip-off, we got to know that a drug dealer is planning to carry Phensedyl in Khalshi village of Benapole. Immediately a smart team of the district intelligence wing was sent there to conduct a special operation.
And before the accused knew anything, he was arrested red-handed with 50 bottles of Phensedyl from the paved road on the western side of the paddy field of Nurul Gazi.
Accused Md. Monirul Islam, father Rafiqul Islam is a resident of Bazar Para of Khalshi village. The estimated value of the seized drugs is around Tk. 1,50,000. Appropriate legal action will be taken against the arrested accused.”
In this regard, Sheikh Abu Hasan, SI of District Intelligence Branch, filed a case at Benapole Port Police Station as the plaintiff.
