Bina farmer training held at Rangpur

Bangladesh Atomic Agriculture Research Institute (BINA) farmer training on introduction of improved varieties of cultivated crops and Boro paddy inter-cropping techniques and seed storage was held on Tuesday in the hall of Rangpur BINA sub-centre.
Bina Director General Dr. Mirza Mofazzal Islam was the Chief Guest, BCCTF Bina Anga Project Director CSO Dr. Sakina Khanam presided. Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture Mohammad Yasin Khan, Director of BCCTF Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, District Training Officer Agronomist Enamul Haque on behalf of Deputy Director of District Agriculture Extension Department, Dr. Muhammad Ali, Deputy Director of Bina Rangpur sub-centre, Deputy Director of BADC Md. Masud Sultan were special guests.
Bina scientific officer, Md. Mahmudul Hossain and Motabber Rahman etc. also spoke at this time.
Farmer training was implemented in cooperation with the Department of Agricultural Extension organized by Bina Rangpur under the project “Haur, Charanchal, Saline and Mountain Adaptation through Atomic Techniques”.
