3 drug traders held with 4 kg hemps

A contingent of DB Police, Bagerhat district arrested 3 (three) drug traders from Town Noapar area, a crossing point of 3 Highways within Piljanga Union under Fakirhat Upazila (in Bagerhat district) at Thursday night, according to a delayed report received here.
The arrested drug traders are Mossammat Mim (20), daughter of one Arman Talukdar of village Digraj under Rampal Upazil in the district, Md. Alamgir Hossain (22), son of one Abu Sayeed of the same village and Md. Sohel Shaikh (19), son of one Md. Abdus Salam of village Bhatrabad.
Swapan Kumar Roy, officer-in-charge of DB (Detective Branch) Police told, acting on secret information that some drug traders are waiting at Noapara Mor (crossing point of 3 Highways) just in front of Shsishu Mela Kindergarten School for selling ganja at the night of Thursday police raided the place. But sensing the appearance of the police the drug traders tried to flee away. Police chased and arrested them. Then the police searched their bodies and recovered 4 kgs ganja contained in a poly thin bag.
