RAB nabs 9 for selling train tickets on black market

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested nine persons, including a Shohoz employee, for selling train tickets in the black market ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The arrestees were identified as Md Mizan Dhali (48), office assistant of Shohoz, Md Sohel Dhali (30), Md Shumon (39), Md Jahangir Alam (49), Md Shahjalal Hossain (42), Md Russel (24), Md Joinal Abedin (46), Md SoburHawlader (40), and Newton Biswas (40), according to the official Facebook page of RAB.

They were arrested from the Shabujbag and Kamalapur areas of Dhaka on Thursday night, said RAB Assistant Director (Media Officer) Superintendent of Police Md Al Amin.

The RAB will reveal details in a media briefing later on Friday.
