Sale of Eid train tickets begins on March 24

Bangladesh Railway is going to start the advance sale of train tickets on March 24 on the occasion of the upcoming Holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
It was known that 100 percent of the tickets would be sold online.

Acting Director General of Bangladesh Railway, Sardar Shahadat Ali, gave this information in a press conference at Rail Bhaban in the capital on Wednesday regarding advance train tickets.

He said, “Eight pairs of special trains will be running this Eid.

On Eid, advance tickets for all intercity trains running in the western region will be available online in the morning, and tickets for trains running in the eastern region will be available online from noon.”

Advance tickets for April 3 will be given on March 24, April 4 tickets will be given on March 25, April 5 tickets will be given on March 26, April 6 tickets will be given on March 27, April 7 tickets will be given on March 28, and April 8 advance tickets will be given on March 29. Tickets for April 9 will be given on March 30.

The Director General of Railways said that 33,500 advance tickets for intercity trains will be sold every day.
