5 robbers rounded up

After 13 days of robbing a farmer’s house in Mokarampur village of Ishwardi, police arrested 5 members of an inter-district dacoit gang. Some of the goods lost during the robbery have been recovered. OC Rafiqul Islam gave this information in a press briefing at Ishwardi police station on Wednesday (March 6) afternoon.
The arrested robbers are Shishir Pramanik (22) son of Monirul Islam Shipon of Mokarampur village in Ishwardi, Mahabul Ali (36) son of Salim Pramanik of Bara Dikshail village of Pabna Sadar police station, Hasinur Rahman Hasu (24) son of Afsar Ali of Bhangura thanan Chaubaria Harupara, Bamandanga village of Ataikular. Momin (33), son of deceased Afzal Hussain, Sabuj Jamaddar (22), son of Khokon Jamaddar of Ataikula.
On February 22, around 2:30 a.m., a group of 5-6 robbers broke the lock on the door of farmer Babul Hossain, son of Idris Ali, in Mokarampur Danipara of Ishwardi and entered.
