Workshop on Lilium flower production in BARI

Floriculture Division, Horticulture Research Centre (HRC) Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged a closing workshop on “Adaption, Validation, Multiplication and Maintenance of Lilium Genotype in Bangladesh” at HRC Seminar Room BARI on Monday. The project funded by Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF).
Director (Horticulture Research Centre) Dr. Munshi Rashid Ahmad presided over the session while Director General of BARI Dr. Debasish Sarker was present as chief guest. Former Director General (BARI) Mr. Md. Yusuf Mia, Former Director General (BWMRI) Dr. Naresh Chandra Deb Barma, Former Director General (BARI) Dr. Md. Nazirul Islam, Director (Training and Communication) Dr. Md.Tariqul Islam and Director (Research) Dr. Md. Abdullah Yousuf Akhond were present as special guests.
Senior scientists from various divisions/centers/section of BARI were present there also. Principal Scientific Officer (Floriculture Division, HRC) Dr. Farjana Nasrin Khan gave the welcome address in this Workshop.
