Heart Foundation Hospital in Bagerhat

A cross section of people of Bagerhat gathered in a meeting at Diganto party center, Paribagh, Dhaka on Wednesday evening to hear Prof.Dr. Chowdhury Hafizul Ahasan, a famous Cardiologist and Director, Cardiac Cath.Lab. University Medical Center, Las Vegas, USA.
His present trip to Bangladesh is marked with a mission to establish a Heart Foundation Hospital in Bagerhat. Initial work is going on. He gave a short description of progress to the audience . It was also informed that the registration of land had already completed in favour of the proposed hospital. Other necessary steps are on going to expedite its functioning.
Chowdhury Hafizul did not claim the project as his own rather he called it the project of the people of Bagerhat. He opened the floor for the audience.
Among others, Prof. Dr. Sk. Abdul Fattah, Dr. Mosharraf Hossain, Kalipado Podder, Advocate Tuku, Shamsunnaher Nahid(Mohua), Syed Tosharaf Ali, A F Naser Uddin, Mohiuddin Ahamed, Sarder Sirajul Haq, Zillur Rahman. Although, it is a challenging task, everyone was hopeful and confident to the initiative.
