Authority to drive in wholesale market ahead of Ramadan

Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) including District Administration arranged a view exchange meeting on ‘Kitchen markets current situation, Safety Food ‘ at local Collectorate Conference room on Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) in Kishoreganj Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad attended as chief guest, Police Super (SP) Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PMM (Bar), ADC(General) Rubel Mahamud, Deputy Director (DD) in Agriculture Extension Abdus Satter and DNCRP AD Rehdoy Ronjon Bonik as special guests while CAB district president Alam Sarowar Tito in the chair.

DC in Kishoreganj Abul Kalam Azad said that, Administration will launch a special drive in the wholesale market in March to keep prices of commodities under control ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.

SP Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PPM (Bar) said, We have informed the treaders that those who will buy and seil the goods must kerp a recipt if how much the bought the goods for.

Action will be taken if there is ant evidence of selling products at higher prices.
