BTEB admission opens August 29

Admission to various four-year diploma and two-year HSC vocational programmes under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) for the 2026-2027 academic year will begin on August 29.

The board announced the schedule in a notice issued on Thursday, outlining the programmes available to prospective students.

The four-year diploma programmes include Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Textile Engineering, Diploma in Agriculture, Diploma in Forestry, Diploma in Fisheries, Diploma in Livestock, and Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management, according to the notice.

Students can also apply for four two-year programmes: HSC (Vocational), HSC (Business Management and Technology), Diploma in Commerce, and Certificate in Marine Trade.

The programmes provide options across engineering, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, livestock, textiles, tourism, business management and marine trade.

The BTEB notice said detailed information on the admission process, eligibility requirements and other relevant matters would be available through the board’s designated admission website.

Applicants can access the admission information at www.btebadmission.gov.bd.
The admission process will cover the 2026-2027 academic year, with applications opening from August 29.
