Warm-up match: Bangladesh take on Ireland today

Sports Reporter :Bangladesh will take on Ireland today in their second official ICC World Cup warm-up ODI match at the Blacktown Olympic Park Oval in Sydney. The match begins at 5.00 am BST (Bangladesh Standard Time).Players of Bangladesh National Cricket team took part at the practice session at the same venue on Wednesday.Earlier, Bangladesh lost to Pakistan by three wickets in their first official ICC World Cup warm-up match by three wickets at the same venue on February 9.Though Bangladesh tasted a defeat to their opponents but Bangladesh gave a close fight against their South Asian counterpart.Second-down Mahmudullah Riyad hit a brilliant 83 from 109 balls featuring five fours while opener Tamim Iqbal notched up a superb 81 off 109 balls hitting five fours.Taskin Ahmed and skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the two pacers of Bangladesh bagged a pair of wickets each for 41 and 50 runs respectively.Bangladesh will start their World Cup Cricket campaign against Afghanistan at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on February 18.
