With a pledge to make online spaces safer and free of vulgarity, he is working tirelessly. In this digital age, the usage of the internet and digital platforms is increasing exponentially. This technological advancement has made our lives infinitely easier.
But this advancement comes with its own risks. Cyber security is constantly threatened and cyber attacks have been evolving to become stronger. Cyber crimes cause billions of dollars in losses every year.
A 2006 study done by Computer Economics states those computer viruses caused $13.3 billion in losses. Abdul Rahman, a cyber security professional, is hailing from Pirojpur. He is mainly a gamer. Once, he suffered a number of occurrences where he was harassed online. After scammed trying to recharge virtual coins in the game, Abdul decided to do something about it. That is how he came to become a cyber security professional himself. In 2021, he formed a cyber security team named “Rider Official.” Abdul Rahman and his team help victims of cyber crimes for free.
Abdul was born and raised in Mathbaria, Pirojpur. He studied at Khulna’s Maheshwarpasha School, Ghatichora School, KM Latif Institution, and Qawmi Madrasah. At present, Abdul is a student at Dhulogram Madrasah in Madaripur. He also works as a graphic designer.
