47.83pc students pass MBBS this year

The results of the MBBS Admission Test for 2023-24 have been announced. A total of 49923 students passed the exam.
Health Minister Samanta Lal Sen announced the results at a press conference in the capital’s health department on Sunday.
The Health Minister said that the exam’s pass mark was set at 40%, just like the previous year. This year, 49,923 students passed the MBBS entrance exam. And the pass rate is 47.83.
MBBS entrance tests were conducted at 19 centers and 44 institutes of the country last Friday. A total of 1,04,374 students applied to participate in the admission test. 98 percent students appeared in this year’s entrance exam. 37 government medical colleges have 5,380 seats, whereas 67 private medical colleges have 6,295.
